What is amazing about England is that not only visual arts, could be of interest - but also their popular musical culture is of interest. Just to mention the Northern Soul that predates the EDM explosion (e.g. a kind of working man's pastime before "house" etc. took over) or the folk music scene. I've looked at a recent book, at the Type bookstore in Toronto, called "Electric Eden" - it got some rave reviews. I might go back and pick it up - especially that some sales stuff are very helpful and more ...
